New York/Port Washington trade

The New York Highlanders send Paul Byrd, Jose Contreras, Ryan Doumit, and Khalil Greene to the Port Washington Pirates in exchange for Eric Bruntlett, Braden Looper, Jonathan Sanchez, and the Pirates' 6th round pick in the 2009 draft.
